Chris Hancock, a housing and community safety professional with over 20 years experience in local government. He has worked in a variety of officer and management positions specialising in housing management, strategic housing and more recently community safety. Chris started working in housing in 2002 and is currently employed as an acting community safety and housing partnerships manager for Norwich City Council.

Chris has a strong background in developing bids for specialist housing for people who have experienced homelessness across Norwich. Chris has also developed innovative partnerships dealing with some of the more extreme forms of homelessness and has levered in significant investment into Norwich and the third sector.

Chris is a housing and community safety professional and has a post graduate diploma in housing and is currently undergoing further qualifications in community safety. Chris has also recently renewed his Chartered Institute of Housing chartered membership and is continuing to develop his professional practice and knowledge.
