David Driscoll

Until recently a Chartered Surveyor, David has taken many leading roles in the hospitality and care sectors, and recently retired to Norwich.  The first half of his career was in hospitality, working for GrandMet, Whitbread, and Bass. In the mid 1980s he worked for Norwich Brewery, based in Rouen Road, so whilst not locally born and bred, he is familiar with Norwich and Norfolk.

His latter career has been in the care and senior living industry working for a number of organisations, including Sunrise Senior Living in the UK and Germany, Signature Senior Lifestyle as CEO; Audley Retirement as Property & Business Development Director, and  the PegasusLife group to lead the creation of a new care home model called All of Us, specialising in dementia care. He has wide experience of the difficulties of site acquisition, design, planning and development as well as operational responsibilities in the senior living sector.

In retirement he continues to assist The Royal Star & Garter Homes, a charity supporting ex-service personnel and their spouses, and is delighted to be able to apply his experience with Norwich Housing Society.
