About Sangster House

Sangster House is situated very close to Leander Court where both schemes share a social room. It is also very close to the centre of the popular Norwich suburb of Eaton, with its shopping and community facilities. There are good bus links to the city centre and the Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital, as well as easy access to walking routes along the River Yare valley, Cringleford and the University of East Anglia.

The accommodation

Completed in 2022, Sangster House consists of 4 one-bedroom flats and 4 one-bedroom bungalows. The 4 flats are located in the original house built in 1930. Original features remain such as the staircase and wood paneling.

Support facilities

Sangster House is classified as sheltered housing. The Society’s Scheme Managers provide a visiting support service to tenants that request a visit. Each flat is connected to the call system by means of pull cords, as well as a pendant alarm (additional pendants are available, at cost). The call system is monitored 24/7, and a mobile response is provided when necessary.
