Chair of Governance & Risk Committee
The majority of my working life was spent with Lloyds Bank. The first 20 years were spent in London, working my way up the management structure until I was transferred to Norwich to be part of the team responsible for the bank's small and medium sized business customers. Taking voluntary early retirement after 32 years with the bank, I accepted an offer to join the management team of a group of companies in Norwich which gave me a great insight into the challenges faced by small business with limited resources.
I retired fully at age 60 in 2010 and work voluntarily for my parish council. I have twin sons who have blessed us with 4 grandsons. I am a life - long supporter of Tottenham Hotspur and spend much leisure time playing or talking about golf.
